Terms of service

The Post Machine plans, writes, designs and schedules social media posts for your business, and publishes them to the networks you connect (currently Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn). What each plan includes is shown on the pricing page. We may improve or change features over time.

• You must be of the age of majority where you live and able to enter a contract.
• Keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you add to it.
• Give accurate information, and tell us if something is wrong.

• New businesses get a 7-day free trial on any plan, once per business. A card is needed to start. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged for the plan you chose.
• Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, per business, at the prices on the pricing page (currently $89, $179 or $349 CAD a month). You can pay in Canadian or US dollars. Applicable taxes, such as GST/HST, may be added.
• Each plan has a monthly allowance of credits for rewrites and new graphics. It resets on the 1st and does not carry over. Top-up credits you buy do not expire and are used after your monthly allowance.
• You can change plan or cancel at any time from Plan & billing. Cancelling stops future charges.
• Charges already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it or we agree otherwise.
• We may change prices. We will tell you in advance, and a change will not apply until your next billing period.

• You keep ownership of your brand, your photos and the material you give us.
• You give us permission to use that content to provide the service: to process it, send it to our AI and publishing providers, and publish posts to your accounts.
• You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload or ask us to post, including photos of people and any text or logos.
• The posts we create for you are yours to use. Because they are generated with AI, others may receive similar wording.

AI writing can contain mistakes. The Post Machine is designed to use only the facts you give it, but you are responsible for what is published for your business. If you choose Approve everything, nothing is published until you approve it. If you choose Autopilot, posts are published on schedule without your approval, and you accept that. You can unschedule a post, or switch to approving everything, at any time. We do not promise any level of reach, followers, sales or other results.

Publishing depends on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and our other providers. You must follow each network’s own terms and rules, and we may be unable to publish if a network changes its rules, limits access or has an outage. We are not responsible for those.

You agree not to use The Post Machine to:

• post anything illegal, deceptive, hateful, harassing or that infringes someone else’s rights;
• promote businesses or products you do not own or have the right to promote;
• try to break, overload or get around the service, or access other businesses’ information;
• resell the service or share your account across unrelated businesses.

We may pause or end an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why where we can.

We work to keep The Post Machine running and accurate, but it is provided “as is”, without promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.

You can stop using The Post Machine and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end the service for an account for non-payment, misuse or legal reasons. When an account ends we handle your information as described in our privacy policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere. We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes by email. If you keep using The Post Machine after a change takes effect, you accept it.
